This paper is about the relationship of cholesterol to human physiology. Cholesterol is synthesised by the human body. On the other hand, triglyceride fats are required in our diet because our body cannot synthesise essential fatty acids. Comparing the physiology of cholesterol with that of triglyceride fats leads to a picture of cholesterol which indicates that it is related to the nervous pole of the human being. Even the chemical and physical properties of cholesterol and fats are integrated in this polarity.
