Am Jungbach, vielleicht dicht an einer Stromschnelle, sehen wir, h{\"o}ren wir, f{\"u}hlen wir das str{\"o}mende Wasser als Einheit: Gischttropfen k{\"u}hlend auf der Wange, glatt gerillte Streifen der Schnelle; anschlie{\ss}end turbulentes Str{\"o}men, wei{\ss}e Str{\"a}hnen des von Bl{\"a}schen durchl{\"u}fteten Wassers. Bei gr{\"o}{\ss}erem Gef{\"a}lle wird die Stromschnelle zum Strahl des Wasserfalles, der zum Boden hin aufstaut und umgeleitet wird. Gehen wir hinauf zur Quelle, so k{\"o}nnen wir eine Wassererhebung bemerken, die die Quellstr{\"o}mung verr{\"a}t (Bild 1). Weiter flu{\ss}abw{\"a}rts merken wir, wie das Wasser am Flu{\ss}ufer immer ruht, w{\"a}hrend es zur Mitte hin stets schneller str{\"o}mt (Bild 2): Ein angef{\"a}rbtes Viereck z. B. wird nach kurzer Zeit durch das Geschwindigkeitsspiel geschert und verzerrt. Ziehen wir nun zur M{\"u}ndung zweier hinm{\"a}andrierender Str{\"o}me im mittleren Flu{\ss}lauf. Hier treffen auf sch{\"o}ner Art das Scheren und das M{\"a}andrieren zusammen (Bild 3). Der Ausgleich der zuvor mit unterschiedlicher Geschwindigkeit str{\"o}menden Einzelfl{\"u}sse erfolgt zun{\"a}chst scherend. }, annote = {Based on poor indications by R. Steiner for the manufacture of a mistletoe preparation for cancer treatment several procedures have been developed. They all have in common that extracts from summer plants are {\guillemotright}Whorled round in dropping{\guillemotleft} (Steiner 1924) by extracts from winter plants. The significance for the effect of healing is not based solely on the fact of mixing but equally important on the mixing process itself. Different apparatuses lead to fluxes that are determined by the set up of the machine, as well as by the properties of the fluid extracts. With respect to cancer therapy there is a need for a more profound understanding of the mistletoe plant, the machine and man. The present conference puts forward the various flow-processes, which result in the use of the different apparatuses. Does the flow itself reveal relationships to the cancer patient, as well as to the mistletoe plant? One approach for an answer consists in the study and observation of flow in nature, man and technique in order to discover flow forms that relate to both, man and earth.
