Es war Rudolf Steiner ein grosses Anliegen, die Geisteswissenschaft an das wissenschaftliche Denken seiner Zeit anzubinden. Er hat eine Reihe von Brückenschlägen aufgezeigt, die eine Verständigung ermöglichen. Nach einem Blick auf das Verhältnis zwischen Anthroposophie und Naturwissenschaft unter erkenntnistheoretischen und methodischen Gesichtspunkten wird eine Reihe solcher Brückenschläge dargestellt. Das selbstständige Mitvollziehen geisteswissenschaftlicher Schilderungen beim Studium der Anthroposophie führt zu einer ideell-geistigen Erkenntnis, die ausgehend vom heutigen Verstandesbewusstsein eine erste Stufe auf dem Weg zum schauenden Erkennen bildet. Eine zweite Brücke führt von der Naturwissenschaft über die goetheanistische Wissenschaft, die durch die Ausbildung der Erkenntnisfähigkeiten und eine Erweiterung des Weltbezugs Voraussetzungen für eine anthroposophische Naturwissenschaft schafft. N1 -It was a matter of great concern to Rudolf Steiner that spiritual science should be connected with the scientific thinking of his time. He identified several linkage points which would enable an agreement between them. After examining the relationship between anthroposophy and natural science from the viewpoints of epistemology and methods, a series of such linkage points is presented. Independently experiencing the findings of spiritual science through the study of anthroposophy leads to an ideal-spiritual knowledge which, starting from our present intellectual consciousness, takes us a first step on the path towards intuitive cognition. A second link leads from natural science via Goethean science which, through developing our cognitive faculties and extending our relationship to the world, creates the conditions necessary for an anthroposophical science.
