Bereits in einem vorangegangenen Beitrag hatte sich der Verfasser mit Fragen der Zuordnung von anthroposophisch-geisteswissenschaftlichen Zeitaltern zur geologischen Zeitskala befasst. Dabei kam er zu dem Ergebnis, dass der Austritt des Mondes eine entscheidende Schlüsselstelle für derartige Zuordnungen darstellt. Aus der Sicht der Anthroposophie liegt dieser Zeitpunkt in der Mitte des lemurischen Zeitalters und nach Erkenntnissen der Geologie im Beginn des Hadaikum – in dem ältesten Äon der geologischen Zeitskala. In diesem Beitrag wird die weitere Erdgeschichte betrachtet. Nach eingehender Prüfung von etlichen Aussagen Steiners ist es sehr wahrscheinlich, dass der Übergang vom lemurischen zum atlantischen Zeitalter mit dem Übergang vom Hadaikum zum Archaikum gleichzusetzen ist. Auf der Grundlage dieses Ergebnisses kann die Frage nach der jeweiligen Existenz von Lemurien und Atlantis neu gestellt werden.
N1 -In an earlier article, the author dealt with questions of aligning the anthroposophical spiritual-scientific evolutionary epochs, as determined by Rudolf Steiner, with the geological time scale. He came to the conclusion that the separation of the moon from the earth represents a crucial point in such an alignment. From the perspective of Anthroposophy, this point in time lies in the middle of the Lemurian epoch. According to current geological understanding, it occurs at the beginning of the Hadean Eon, the first and oldest eon on the geological time scale. The present article explores the subsequent history of the earth. After careful consideration of a number of Steiner’s assertions concerning earth’s evolution, it is very likely that the transition from the Lemurian to the Atlantean epoch can be aligned with the transition from the Hadean Eon to the Archean Eon. On this basis, the question of the actual existence of Lemuria and Atlantis can be asked anew.
