Eine neue Debatte zur Ontologie von Photonen

Abstract:

Dass die Vorstellung von lokalisierten Photonen, die von der Lichtquelle zu einem lichtempfindlichen Detektor unterwegs sind, im Falle von quantenop tischen Experimenten zu widersprüchlichen Folgerungen führen kann, ist seit Jahrzehnten bekannt. Mit dem Titel «Asking photons where they have been» wurde kürzlich ein überraschendes Experiment beschrieben, das auch für ein klassisch interpretierbares Interferenzexperiment, wie es in dem Artikel beschrieben wird, eine ähnliche Aussage macht (Danan et al. 2013). Seit der Veröffentlichung gibt es um die Interpretation der Ergebnisse eine anhaltende Kontroverse (Salih 2015, Saldanha 2014, Potoček & Ferenczi 2015, Bartkiewicz et al. 2015, Vaidman et al. 2015, Vaidman 2016).
