Abstract:
In part one of this paper I discussed the general assumptions of Aristotle’s meteorology. Here I present some of the essential aspects of his theory of weather. I focus on how rain and wind come about as well as on the visual atmospheric phenomena. By comparing two of his propositions with the corresponding ones of Häckel (2005), I attempt to demonstrate certain commonalties and differences in the two approaches.
