Abstract:

Instead of addressing mechanics and electricity directly, we try to present them in the living context of an enterprise. Mechanics and electricity ubiquitously pervade working life through the technology in machines and factories. We expose ourselves to technology daily while employing its services. Therefore we accept the challenge of handling technology responsibly in a context-sensitive and life-enhancing way. The qualitative aspects to be considered in this sense when designing technical systems is exemplified here by the choice of components in a bottling plant.
