Abstract:
An analysis of the concepts of health and disease reveals that they are anticipatory and not anamnetic. As far as the potentialities of an organism can be assessed by experience, these terms can be used ingeniously, for example by understanding landscapes to be organisms. The only level on which the human constitution can be considered to be healthy is its spiritual potential for responsibility and only by activation of this potential can it help to cure the ecological catastrophe. Consciousness of future in every actual moment itself can experience and understand what health and disease ar, within and around us.
